After the first publish, open the artifact and choose Website settings to manage access, connected data, environment variables, and runtime connections.
Overview and access
- Under Overview, choose Public when visitors should not need to sign in.
- Choose Require LynaX sign-in when the website is only for LynaX users and must apply business or team permissions.
- Rename the website when needed. The system subdomain identifies the URL; it is not where a custom domain is changed.
Data Engine
The Data Engine section shows collections and views currently used by the website. Choose Open Data Engine to manage schema, records, and permissions; recheck the website after sensitive data changes.
Environment variables
- Add a variable only when the website source actually requires it.
- Use Server-only for tokens and secrets; saved values are encrypted and are not revealed again.
- Public values can be available in the browser, so never put passwords, API secrets, or administrator keys there.
- After changing variables, retest the integration and publish a new build when the source or runtime requires it.
Delete a website
Delete is irreversible. Before deleting, check the custom domain, Website Chat, data, and users relying on the URL; move or remove those connections first.
