Use this guide to connect each channel to LynaX, assign an AI Seller, and test both message directions before enabling automation.
Before you connect
- Sign in to the correct workspace with channel-management permission.
- Create and activate at least one AI Seller.
- Open Chat Platform → Connections and choose Connect channel.
- Follow the platform-specific procedure below.
Do not enable auto-response immediately. Complete the validation steps at the end first.
Connect Facebook Messenger
- Use a Facebook account that administers the target Facebook Page.
- Choose Facebook Messenger → Connect now.
- Sign in, select the Page, and grant the requested messaging permissions.
- Back in LynaX, verify that the connection shows the correct Page name.
- Open its menu and run Check connection. Configure public/private comment replies under Settings when needed.
Connect Instagram
- Use an Instagram Business Account linked to a Facebook Page.
- Connect that Facebook Page to LynaX first.
- Choose Instagram → Connect now, sign in through Facebook, and grant access to the linked Instagram account.
- Verify the account name in LynaX and run Check connection.
Connect Zalo OA
- Use an account that administers the Official Account.
- Choose Zalo OA → Connect now, sign in, select the OA, and approve access.
- When the connection appears, run Check connection and send a test message from a customer account.
- Assign an AI Seller, check the conversation in Seller Hub, and enable automation only after both directions work.
Create Website Chat
- Choose Widget Chat → Connect now, name the widget, select an AI Seller, and configure its appearance.
- For a LynaX website, select the website in the widget configuration and enable Draft and/or Live. No embed code or website rebuild is needed.
- For an external website, enter a bare domain such as
example.com, then copy the embed script after creating the widget. - Open the site in a private window, send a test message, and verify it in Seller Hub.
Connect WhatsApp Business
- Prepare a Facebook account with access to the Meta Business Portfolio and the phone number intended for WhatsApp Business.
- Choose WhatsApp Business → Connect now to open Meta Embedded Signup.
- In Meta, select or create the Business Portfolio and WhatsApp Business Account, then select/register the phone number.
- Grant the requested permissions and finish the popup without closing it early.
- Verify the account/number in LynaX and run Check connection.
“WhatsApp Embedded Signup is not configured” requires a LynaX workspace administrator. If Meta does not return a WABA ID or Phone Number ID, restart signup and complete phone verification.
Connect a Telegram Bot
- Open verified @BotFather.
- Send
/newbot, provide a display name, and choose a username ending inbot. - Copy the Bot Token and keep it secret. See the official Telegram tutorial.
- In LynaX choose Telegram → Connect now, paste the Bot Token, and confirm.
- LynaX validates the bot and registers its webhook automatically. Run Check connection.
- Open the bot from a personal Telegram account, press Start or send
/start, then send a test message.
A Telegram Bot cannot initiate a conversation; the customer must message it first. Revoke the token in BotFather and reconnect if the token is exposed.
Connect a LINE Official Account
- Create a LINE Official Account and enable Messaging API using the LINE Developers guide.
- In LINE Developers Console, open the Messaging API channel and obtain Channel Secret, Channel ID, and a Channel Access Token.
- In LynaX choose LINE → Connect now; enter Channel Access Token, Channel Secret, and optionally Channel ID.
- Confirm. LynaX validates the bot and registers the webhook endpoint.
- Add the Official Account as a friend, send a test message, and run Check connection.
Review LINE's Channel Access Token guidance and revoke a token if exposure is suspected.
Assign a Seller and activate
- Choose Manage AI Sellers on the connection.
- Assign one or more active Sellers.
- Send a customer-side test and verify the conversation in Seller Hub.
- Send one manual reply to validate outbound delivery.
- Enable Auto-response. Enable Data collection only after a collection/view is assigned to the Seller.
Troubleshooting
- No incoming messages: run Check connection, confirm the correct Page/OA/number, and send a customer-side test message.
- Outbound delivery fails: check the messaging window, provider permissions, and the Page/OA/number state.
- Auto-response cannot be enabled: assign an active AI Seller first.
- OAuth or token expired: reconnect; issue a new Telegram/LINE token if the previous token was revoked.
- Duplicate replies: disable provider auto-replies or another tool using the same channel.
Proactive messages, messaging windows, templates, and supported file types are governed by each provider. A connected state does not replace provider approval.
