Website Chat puts an AI Seller on a website and records conversations in Seller Hub. LynaX-managed websites and external websites use different activation paths.
Create Website Chat
- Open Chat Platform → Connections and choose Widget Chat → Connect now.
- Name the widget, select at least one active AI Seller, and configure its greeting, placeholder, and appearance.
- Create the widget. You can return to the widget page to change appearance or its AI Seller later.
Enable it on a LynaX website
- Select the LynaX website in the widget configuration.
- Enable Draft websites to test chat on drafts; enable Live websites for the system URL and verified custom domain.
- Save. A LynaX website needs no embed code and no rebuild for Website Chat.
- Alternatively, open the artifact → Website settings → Website Chat, choose the widget, set Draft or Live, and save.
Enable it on an external website
- Enter one or more manual domains in the widget and save.
- Copy the Website Chat embed script from the widget detail page.
- Add the script to the external site as instructed, then deploy that site through your own process.
- Open the exact domain in a private window, send a test message, and confirm the conversation appears in Seller Hub.
